GUJRAT, Police have taken nine suspects into custody in connection with the killing of Prof Shabir Hussain Shah, the director of the University of Gujrat (UoG) and his driver Khadim Hussain in an ambush, sources told Dawn on Wednesday.
Official sources said the federal as well as provincial intelligence and law enforcement agencies were probing the incident from different angles.
The investigators were trying to know whether the killers had some sectarian motive or the double murder was
