17 percent of children in Karachi city primary schools suffer from mental illness

Karachi Around 17 percent of children aged between five and 11 studying in Karachi’s primary schools suffer from one or more common child psychiatric disorder, a study has revealed.

Behavioural disorders were the most common (10.2 percent), followed by anxiety disorders (4.2 percent) and mood disorders (2.9 percent).
