MUZAFFARABAD, The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has been seeking for over a year the release of pledged funds to complete a clean drinking water project.
‘The clean drinking water for all’ (CDWA) project was launched by the federal government in mid-2009 in Punjab and AJK.
The AJK component envisaged installation of 232 filtration plants - 182 in rural areas each with 2,000 litres/hour capacity and 50 in urban areas with 4,000 litres/hour capacity each.
