Court seeks more arguments in petition against judges’ appointment
LAHORE: Justice Ijazul Ahsan of Lahore High Court on Friday sought further arguments till October 22 in a petition seeking criterion of written examination and interview to fill the vacancies of judges for superior courts.
Judge also appointed lawyer Shehzad Shaukat as amicus curie (friend of court) to assist on the issue. A deputy attorney general sought more time to file a reply to the petition.
