KARACHI, The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) is planning to change its name, it emerged on Tuesday.
The power utility on Tuesday notified the KESC Shareholders Association of this pending change through a letter stating that it planned to change its name to K-Electric.
Confirming a possible change in the company’s name, a KESC spokesman, on being contacted, said the company after being privatised had a new identity and hence deserved a new name.
