Decision has been taken to impose ban on allowing new electricity connections to the consumers in Rawalpindi in the backdrop of prevailing energy crisis. As per Wapda Islamabad no new electricity connections will be energized in upcoming few months.
New meters are also not being provided to the consumers who have applied for them during the last three months due to acute shortage of meters. The concerned quarters have regretted to install new meters in the premises of applicants. The
