LAHORE, Oct 19: Most park and ride sites established along the 27km route of the Metro Bus System from Gajjumata to Shahdara have proved useless considering commuter trends and potential, according to a study conducted by city and regional planning experts of the University of Engineering and Technology.
As many as 16 parking sites worth millions had been constructed along the MBS route, including Shahdara, Model Town, Naseerabad, Ichhra, to attract motorists to park their vehicles and ride
