Price hike causing low turnout at cattle markets Demand for animal decorative items increases ahead of Eid

Traders hope sales will start picking up from tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Price hike has forced traders of sacrificial animals to charge high prices for animals causing a low sale of animals at cattle markets.
Animal traders complained that because of the price hike they were forced to sell animals at higher rates as compared to the previous year.
On the other hand residents wanting to purchase sacrificial animals said the traders were overcharging and price hike was just an excuse.
