BAHAWALPUR, Preliminary work -- levelling of ground and cutting of trees – is in progress in the area around the Lal Sohanra National Park, 40km from here on Hasilpur Road, to launch the first phase of the Quaid-i-Azam solar energy park.
It is learnt that about 10,000 acres of land will be made available for the project in phases.
Sources said the land selected earlier for the project at Dingarh in Cholistan may be used for the extension of the project in future.
