Peshawar University Teachers Association in collaboration with UNESCO held a function to honor outstanding teachers. The ceremony was held in connection with the World teachers Day. Seven teachers were awarded on the day for their services in their field of specialty.
These included Prof. Dr. Jasmin Shah and Prof. Dr. Nazir Tabassum both of whom have been nominated for the Tamgha Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal for best research publication, Associate Professor
