The motor workshop owners and other shopkeepers have placed their goods on roadsides in Gawalmandi and Mitho Khan areas of Rawalpindi Cantonment leaving no space for the pedestrians.
The cantonment board has a separate department to control the encroachments in its jurisdiction with the name of Anti-Encroachment department but failed to curb the menace in most areas. The residents, especially students of the women degree college and elementary girls school, have to face troubles in passing
