Pakistan’s population is growing at a faster rate than it should be not only because family planning is generally considered a taboo subject but also because the government is not serious about making an all out effort to make it one of their priorities.
This is partly due to apathy and partly due to fear of a backlash from those who propagate the thinking that the more children you have the better it is.
