Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) plans action against projects without parking space

Karachi The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has decided to demolish concrete structures raised on space allocated for car and motorcycle parking in both residential and commercial projects in Karachi.

A meeting, chaired by SBCA Chief Executive Manzoor Qadir on Tuesday, decided that a campaign against violators of the building rules and those involved in encroachments would start in District South.

He directed all the section directors to undertake a survey in a week’s time of all under construction, near-completion private and public projects. He told them to present a report on incidents where the approved building plan may have been violated.
