CHANGE does not come overnight. Current challenges for the government need a lot of time and effort to be improved.
In these tough circumstances the Sindh Festival and the Punjab Youth Festival come as a ray of hope, enlightenment, courage, dignity, prosperity and rehabilitation for the people, specifically the youth.
Almost 64pc population comprises youth. The need of the hour is to refresh our minds.
Both festivals did a great job by creating a soft image for the entire world. During the peace dialogue with the Taliban these festivals were great sources of hope for everyone.
The Punjab Youth Festival promoted a soft image by breaking the Guinness world records. It made Pakistan proud by making the national flag fly high again.
Around 29,040 children involved in it wrote history even in the worst weather conditions.
