IHC dismisses intra court appeal of HEC against DG
ISLAMABAD: A division bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) comprising Chief Justice IHC, Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi and Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui here Monday dismissed an intra court appeal of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) that has been praying to set aside the interim order of a single IHC bench restoring HEC Director General Zia Batool to her slot.
Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan of the IHC on Jan 30 had restored the director general quality assurance, higher education commission (HEC) Zia Batool through an interim order after her contractual appointment was terminated by the HEC administration on January 29.
