Kishwar Naheed’s poetry stands for women’s rights Call to protect women rights Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI)

ISLAMABAD: Renowned poet Kishwar Naheed on Friday said being a Muslim country Pakistan did not need enforcement of Shariah but people were still talking about implementing it.


She termed talks by a powerful government with a small group of Taliban a most unfortunate.


She was talking to the people who came to attend an evening with her. The evening was organized by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) at a local restaurant on Friday.
