Students protest amid brandishing clubs Government College Women University, Madina Town, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education

FAISALABAD: Some teachers and security guards of the Government College Women University, Madina Town, on Tuesday allegedly clubbed a number of students to quell protest.

The girls, who escaped any major injury, wanted to demonstrate outside the college to protest “denial of clearance for intermediate examination to be conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education”.

Registrar Dr Rashida said the students were not allowed to go outside the institution during official hours and none of them was beaten up.
