LAHORE THE 103rd birthday celebrations of Faiz Ahmed Faiz kicked off with an enthralling performance by the Tarz Orchestra Ensemble from Karachi at the Alhamra Cultural Centre on 8th of February. A number of other exciting events organised by the Faiz Foundation Trust are on the cards.
On the 14th February, Mahmood Farooqui and Danish Hussain will bring the magic of Dastangoi to Lahore, with a performance at the AlHamra Cultural Centre.
This will be followed by the annual Faiz Aman Mela at the Bagh-e-Jinnah Open Air Theatre on 16th of February.
