LAHORE (APP): National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) Central Zone on Monday launched a campaign against vehicles using blue lights and un-authorized green number plates on national highways. During a visit on national highways, NH&MP N-5 Central DIG Shakil Ahmad said that unauthorized and illegal use of blue revolving lights were causing a security risk to which a campaign had been launched against the violators without any discrimination. He directed the officers to utilize all the available resources to make the campaign effective and monitor the performance of NH&MP personnel during the campaign. SSP Faran Baig was also present on this occasion.
