Islamabad police re-launch mobile vehicle verification system enhance security and facilitate the citizens.

ISLAMABAD: On the directions of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, the Islamabad police have re-launched its mobile vehicle verification system.


The system launched on September 26, 2013, was suspended after 39 days allegedly on the complaints of influential people who used non-customs paid vehicles.


This was one of the four information technology-based verification systems launched by the police to enhance security and facilitate the citizens.


Besides the MVS, the ‘Register verification system’ has already been launched while ‘Property management system’ and the ‘Transaction management system’ are in the pipelines.
