Right to education Law Society Pakistan’s legal education

LAHORE: The Law Society Pakistan’s legal education committee has demanded implementation of Article 25-A of the Constitution which holds the state responsible for providing free education to children.


In a meeting here on Sunday, it urged the government to devise a strategy to check the dropout rate among the schoolgoing children.


Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Nadeem Jamal, director training and research of the society, said millions of Pakistani children were out of schools because of inability of the state to perform it constitutional responsibility.
