KARACHI: A senior doctor and teacher at Karachi Medical and Dental College (KDMC), Prof Javed Kazi was killed during an armed assault Monday afternoon. According to available details the incident occurred in North Nazimabad, within the jurisdiction of Shahrah-e-Noor Jehan Police Station, as the doctor left the college for home, after realizing his teaching responsibilities. Unidentified assailant fired upon the moving car killing the doctor and injuring his driver. Prof Kazi leaves behind a widow and three children. Police sources said necessary interrogation is underway to ascertain facts behind the unfortunate incident and to nab the killers.
