Education: Pakistan is among the countries at the bottom in index of spending on education with its spend of only 1.9pc of the gross domestic product (GDP), says former chairman of Higher Education Commission Prof Dr Attaur Rahman.


India is moving at a fast pace as 200 new universities will be established there in next five years, he says.


Addressing the University of Agriculture Faisalabad faculty members on Tuesday, Dr Rahman said education budget required increase.
