DPS Divisional Public School, student wins debate contest All Pakistan Urdu Debate Competition Divisional Public School,

LAHORE: Muhammad Awais Khalid, a 12-year-old Class-VII student of the Divisional Public School, secured first position on Thursday in the All Pakistan Urdu Debate Competition organised by the Aitchison College Preparatory School.

Started at the Aitchison College, the four-day contest will remain continue till March 30.

“The event will have quiz, English speech and art competitions on March 28, 29 and 30, respectively,” a DPS senior teacher told Dawn.

He said the contest for Urdu and humorous speeches were held on the first day. In humorous debate contest, DPS’s Muhammad Hamza Shoaib stood second.

He said various prestigious schools of the country, including Beaconhouse, Chand Bagh, DPS and LGS, were participating in contests.
