Snake creates panic at IUB Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s sub-campus

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A snake entered a classroom of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s sub-campus and created panic among students on Tuesday.

The students were attending a lecture when they saw a three-foot long snake in the classroom.

The administration called Rescue 1122 to catch the snake. Rescuers chased the snake as it escaped to the motorcycle stand of the university, however, they succeeded in catching it after an hour.

A university employee said snakes were a common sight around the building because of long uncut grass and bushes in the playground which the university had got from the Khwaja Fareed Government Postgraduate College on rent.
