Scholarships awarded to distinction holders District Benevolent Fund at a ceremony

HAFIZABAD: As many as 478 brilliant students who had passed matriculation, intermediate and other examinations with distinctions were awarded educational scholarship worth Rs2.2 million out of District Benevolent Fund at a ceremony held on Tuesday. 
While awarding the scholarship to sons and daughters of government employees who had got above 90 percent marks in the examinations were awarded educational scholarship of Rs50000 each.

The DCO Mansoor Qadir congratulated the recipients and their parents and exhorted the students to continue to work hard to achieve distinction in the future also to brighten their career and play their vital role in the progress and prosperity of the nation.
The recipients and their parents thanked the chief minister of Punjab for encouraging the students and said it would go a long way in improving the standard of education in the province.
