LAHORE The full dress rehearsal of the national anthem singing record has been completed in which 175,000 individuals will take part to earn more laurels for the country at the Punjab University ground here today (Sunday).
The rehearsal will be inspected by Provincial Minister for Sports Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan while police officials will also accompany him. Speaking at the National Hockey Stadium, Mashood said: “It will be really a remarkable moment for the entire nation when two world records will be created on the same day which will not only help Pakistani youth show its strength to the entire world but also portray a positive image of the country across the globe.”
As many as 175,000 seats have been arranged at the Punjab University grounds for the singing national anthem record on February 24 (Monday). The remarkable day will see around 175,000 Pakistani enthusiasts singing national anthem with the core of their heart to pay tribute to the country which has given them identity.
Security arrangements in this regard have also been completed. Around 50,000 school students, 50,000 college and university students and 70,000 female students will be a significant part of this world record breaking activity. Besides this record, another record of waving national flag will be created.
