Abdul Sattar Edhi, Malala Yousafzai and Arfa Karim included as heroes in school textbooks Sindh Text Book Board

Karachi The Sindh Text Book Board has included Abdul Sattar Edhi, Malala Yousafzai and Arfa Karim as heroes in school textbooks.

A chapter on Edhi has been introduced in the general knowledge textbook for class three, while Malala and Arfa have been added into the social studies textbook for class four, said a spokesperson for the STBB.

All the other heroes, including the nine military men awarded Nishan-e-Haider, Muhammad bin Qasim and Mahmud Ghaznavi, remain part of the curriculum.
