Acute shortage in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) irk patients

ISLAMABAD (Online): Lack of medical facilities in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital for emergency and other wards have forced the patients to buy costly medicines from private medical stores. According to details, PIMS has reduced medical facilities for the citizens. The basic facilities which are provided by the government to patients are also out of reach of the patients.

Hospitals has the generator service but during loadshedding patients are not facilitated for x-ray service, people have to wait for hours to get the basic facilities but they do not get relief from the hospital.Talking to ONLINE the patients said they are advised to go to private laboratories for tests while medicines are not being provided due to which they are facing acute problems.
