Islamabad At a reception hosted by the ambassador of Japan, Hiroshi Inomata and Mrs Inomata, new recipients of the MEXT scholarships interacted with alumni of previous programmes, a farewell gesture much appreciated by the to be scholars.
Awarded by the Government of Japan, MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan) research scholarships for the year of 2014 will benefit nine postgraduate students and one undergraduate student (MEXT College of Technology Scholarship) by providing them with an opportunity to pursue higher studies in their respective fields at universities in Japan.
