NUST to establish central library at its main campus soon, Islamabad National University of Sciences and Technology

ISLAMABAD: The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) will soon establish a Central library here at its main campus in sector H-12, Islamabad. 

The central library will contain both academic and non academic books.  This was disclosed by Pro-Rector (Academics), NUST Dr Asif Raza, while inaugurating the first ever book fair arranged by NUST. In his address Dr Asif Raza said that in NUST we have library in all schools containing books on sciences and technology and on modern literature, where both faculty members and students are adapting and promoting a culture of book reading. 
The two-day event is a celebration of books.  It will especially target students who want to buy course books or novels, as well as historical, Islamic and philosophical books at affordable rates. The book fair is meant to promote a culture of book-reading by providing easy accessibility of books to everyone. It will bring books from different subjects of life at one place and will develop open-mindedness, enlightenment and a general sense about culture and society.
