MNA starts plantation drive
LALAMUSA: PML-N MNA Chaudhry Jafar Iqba Monday started the plantation drive by planting saplings at the Municipal Committee Office, Government Degree College for boys and Government I D Janjua College for women. Addressing the students, the MNA said trees are very important for our survival. He said girls are more caring than boys in connection with looking after things. Principal Rubab Jafari also spoke. The MNA was briefed about different problems faced by the college administration and students. He was requested to urge the higher authorities to upgrade the Government I D Janjua College for women up to MA level.
RAIN: City received rain and inundated low lying Mohallas including Paki Gali, Janjua street, Khokhar street, Tanki Mohallah, Sardarpura on Monday.
