Punjab University Vice Chancellor Law College full of talent

LAHORE: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that the University Law College was full of talent and its students were winning debate competitions in Europe. He was addressing the prize distribution ceremony of college’s 136th annual sports at the college’s lawns here on Thursday. Incharge Principal Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi, Justice (r) Farrukh Aftab, Member Punjab Assembly Dr Farzana, Tariq Rahim, cricketer Imran Farhat, Saleem Aftan, President Academic Staff Association Dr Ehsan Sharif, Secretary ASA Javed Sami, renowned bar members, faculty members and students were present on the occasion.

Dr Mujahid Kamran said that the college was a historical college as Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also studied there for a year. He said that the students of the college would play important role in the future politics of the country as well. He congratulated Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi on organizing the best-ever sports event of the college. Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi said that male and female students of the college had showed enthusiasm in the sports and they participated in various competitions with full zeal and zest. Earlier, prizes were distributed among the students who had won various competitions. Mr Raja Sanwal Khan was declared best athlete (male) and Filza Aleem was declared best athlete (female).
