Punjab Youth Festival’s Gaming Arcade and Ad-Mad events Video game buffs take centre stage

LAHORE: The Punjab Youth Festival’s Gaming Arcade and Ad-Mad events concluded at the Punjab Stadium’s Gymnasium Hall on Tuesday.

Minister for Sports and Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan was the chief guest.


Waqar Haider Baig emerged the winner in Need for Speed (video game) followed by Hamza Rasheed of the NUST. The FIFA 13 (video game) competition was won by Muhammad Umer of Pak Polytechnical Institute. UET’s Ahmed Mohayyuddin was the runner-up. In the contest for best Counter Strike team, the five-member Respect (team) grabbed the top honours while the team from Pakistan Grammar School stood second.
