Youth show interest in RC Aeromania and Remote Control Car Races

LAHORE: The Punjab Youth Festival\’s competitions of Aeromania and Remote Control Car Races were held at Punjab Stadium on Sunday. Over 200 youngsters participated in the zealously contested event. 
The models of F-16, JF 17 Thunder, helicopter and chartered airplanes competed in the event. More than two dozen models of planes took part in this activity.
The models of helicopters flew for seven minutes. The tricks of Russian and German-made fighter plane models were also held on this occasion and won huge appreciation from the crowd.
The participants of professional categories also exhibited the tricks of petrol airplanes replicas in this programme.

Heavy bikes were also present on this occasion to show their speed. The audience was stunned to see the 110km per hour speed of a remote control bike.
The competition of remote control cars was staged at 200 meter track in which 20 cars took part.
The youth from Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot featured in the remote control car race. Nine cars took part in hurdle race in which cars demonstrated wonderful speed and fighting abilities.
The enthusiastic youth on this occasion, said that they were waiting for long time for such contests and the Punjab Govt has turned their dream into reality by arranging this event. F.P. Report
