Charity helps poor students get medical education former students of Khyber Medical College Foundation

PESHAWAR: A charity set up by the former students of Khyber Medical College has paid admission fee of many poor students to help them pursue their education.


Founded in September last year, the Khyber Medical College Foundation has been able to pay the admission fee of 75 students out of 200 applications it has received so far.


In future, we will offer complete relief to intelligent students whose parents couldn’t afford expenses of their medical education, said the foundation’s chairman Professor Noorul Iman. “Rs20,000 for each student has been paid by the foundation,” he added.
