Lok VIRSA, and Pakistan Monument continue to flout govt directives for contract employees

ISLAMABAD.(Online): Despite the government directives to sack all the contractual employees, Lok Virsa and Pakistan Monument continue to flout the rules while protecting blue-eyed employees.
Earlier, both the culture promoting institutions received a notification to fire all the contract employees but no action has been taken yet in this regard.

Lok Virsa and Pakistan Monument failed to abide by the rule and order of the ministry of Information and Broadcasting and National heritage. They did not remove their blue-eyed and influential employees till now but poor employees have been fired instantly after the receiving of notification by the government.
According to sources, only ‘no contract employee’ of the organization have been sacked who were working for the last three to five years in Lok Virsa temporarily but not a single contract employee was fired in Pakistan Monument.
Two of the contract employees are still working in the Lok Virsa while amongst them; one of the employees has been promoted to be accountant.
