FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) will conduct a survey of all government and educational institutions to know about their electricity requirements so as to switch them over to the solar energy.
This was decided in a review meeting held on Monday at the Fesco headquarters with State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali in the chair.
The minister said that efforts should be made to resolve the electricity related issues of consumers of far-flung areas.
He directed Fesco officials to carry out a study for the establishment of transformer workshops in remote areas which would help repair the faulty machinery within a minimum time period.
