Women workers asked to unionize for rights Wage Indicator Foundation at the PMA House

KARACHI: Labour leaders on Friday said that weak unionisation and extremely poor level of participation of women in trade unions were among the reasons for poor working conditions and access to fair wages for women.


They were speaking at a meeting organised by the Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research and the Wage Indicator Foundation at the PMA House.


The subject of the meeting was “Labour market dualism in Pakistan”.
