LAHORE A FACULTY member of Punjab University (PU), Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Assistant Professor Dr Zaigham Abbas has secured second best poster prize at an international biotechnology held in UAE.
According to a press release, the 3rd Biotechnology World Congress and 6th International Conference on Drug Discovery and Therapy were held in Dubai in which scientists from all over the world presented their work in the form of oral talks and poster competition.
The poster competition included almost 290 posters of different delegates from all over the world. Dr Zaigham’s poster got second position and was awarded with a shield, a certificate and $750. The event was organised by Eureka Science in collaboration with the Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE and Nobel Laureate Prof Ferid Murad was president and Prof Atta-ur-Rahman was Co-President of this scientific event.
